It did give me some trouble putting the sound out my internal PC speaker instead of my stereo desktop speakers. I can make midi keyboard inputs smooth and easy now. I installed ASIO4ALL v2 and am using that as my playback engine now. Follow Up: Pro Tools doesn't like my built in Dell Sound Card/Driver. I just found that if I have the green 'play' button pressed and the time counter moving, I can make midi key presses non-stop and there is no juttering. Its a new keyboard and I used Midi-Ox to check that I was getting legit output from the keyboard. When I make a new track with an instrument like the Mini Grand I can play and hear, but suddenly my ability to make an input will lag/pause for several seconds before I can make input with the keyboard again.
